Creación de una arquitectura enfocada en la interacción hombre computador para aplicaciones de internet de las cosas en ambientes de vida asistidas
(2018-10-30) Garnica Bautista, Fernando Xavier; Maita Tepán, Edwin Xavier; Cedillo Orellana, Irene Priscila
Because of the Interaction Human Computer (HCI) represents a direct communication channel between people and technological applications, it is necessary for technology to have a focus on providing solutions that facilitate the realization of daily activities, not only to ordinary users, but also to people who cannot interact with different applications in the same way that a person who has all their physical and cognitive faculties does. In this sense, paradigms have been created such as Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) and Internet of Things (IoT) that, used together, seek to promote and prolong the independent life of people from vulnerable sectors such as the elderly people and people with disabilities, through technologies that interact with people in a natural and transparent way in the place and context where the user needs them. In this work, a software architecture is proposed that serves as support during the construction of solutions that facilitate the interaction between users with special needs and different types of devices, sensors or actuators connected to the Internet within assisted living environments, in such a way that they contribute to improve their quality of life. For the validation, a prototype implementation of a system based on the proposed architecture has been carried out, giving way to a quasi-experiment that allows analyzing the architecture from the point of view of the user's perceptions.
