    Periodista e hincha: Análisis de los discursos periodísticos deportivos locales

    Within the work of sports journalists, the narration of sporting events, the transmission of emotions and the connection with audiences stand out, but, above all, maintaining impartial and unbiased discourses, regardless of whether they have an identification or affinity for one team or another. Sports narratives run the risk of being influenced by these preferences, therefore, this study sought to determine whether the narrative discourses of sports journalists are influenced by their emotions and identification as a fan of a team. The results of this research show that sports broadcasters, although they acknowledge their identification as Deportivo Cuenca fans and try to maintain impartiality in their narratives, their speeches reflect biases that are detectable through discourse analysis. Therefore, it is critical that broadcasters continue to develop and implement strategies to mitigate these biases and ensure an unbiased and balanced sports narrative.
