To talk about migration and human mobility implies to get deep into a subject of diverse complexity which is significantly interweaved with the processes of globalization. To see this from a transnational perspective; it puts in crisis the concept of Nation - State as a space for socialization, identification, belonging; but above at all, as a space for individual and collective social protection. The development of this current work focuses in the last regard with the presentation of the results of the investigation carried out in Cumbe parish from Cuenca canton, which aimed, to analyze the environment of transnational social protection resources in the migratory life of the Ecuadorian migrants who returned during the period 2008-2018 from the United States and who, at the time of the investigation, resided in the Cumbe parish. For this purpose, it was carried out an exploratory research through a qualitative methodology, in which deep semi-structured interviews were applied to 17 Ecuadorian citizens, collecting data from their own experiences, and personal memories about the social protection resources that they have accessed from different environments, and places in the migratory process; on the other hand, getting deep into the theoretical contributions and conceptual categories immersed in the subject of study which have allowed the methodological orientation, and the presentation of results that the reader can review throughout the text.
Estrategias de resiliencia y convivencia de los refugiados colombianos radicados en la ciudad de Cuenca

Coexistence involves a number of psychosocial factors that make social interaction complex, even more when we talk about two or more cultures in contact inside a same context. Our particular interest is the study of the strategies used by Colombian refugees in search of a proper integration to the environment in Cuenca, considering their migratory condition and how stressful it may have been it in their lives, in other words, we pretend to understand coexistence and resilience strategies used to face stressful situations, by those who were investigated. In our investigation we had the voluntary collaboration of seven Colombian refugees, living in our city. The information used for the analysis was obtained through deep interviews, its purpose is to know the reality from the participants interpretation, additionally, the participant observation was applied in the environments were they develop. Of what has been said, during the development of this document, the results of the research process are put into consideration of the reader.
