The purpose of this academic article is to measure the level of resilience in adoptive families that completed their legal adoption pertinent to the cases identified in the Technical Adoption Unit, MIES, zone 6m, from 2017 to 2018. With the cases recovered in the Technical Adoption Unit, it was possible to identify the families from the 2017-2018 period, which were studied and completed their legal adoption process in the two years. For this investigation, the Resilience Scale (ER) test was applied and an interview was conducted with a sample of 24 people, aged between 30 and 60 years, the same ones that were male and female. All results were analyzed and processed in the SPSS and Atlas Ti program, which were quantitative and qualitative results. Families are mostly in the high category of the level of resilience and have expressed that the adaptation and assimilation of children and adolescents to the home, has been good for the love and satisfaction of covering their primary and secondary needs, as for the changes that have occurred as a couple, it is important to emphasize that starting to prioritize things, times and money has been fundamental in adoptive families.
