    Revitalización del espacio público en el Centro Histórico de Cuenca bajo criterios de sustentabilidad

    This Degree Project entitled "Revitalization of Public Space in the Historic Center of Cuenca under Sustainability Criteria" is focused on generating proposals at the preliminary project level for abandoned public spaces or that have not been treated within the city. This is because there are currently several people living within the study area who have decided to leave their homes to establish on the outskirts of the city or in places that offer a better quality of life. For this, the main concepts and principles of Sustainability that are applicable to public space are studied to later corroborate through the analysis of case studies and determine the best way to apply the various concepts. In this way, two proposed criteria and design strategies are generated corresponding to the analysis of the immediate environment and sustainability in such a way that it solves the specific problems that arise in different sites, this allows to propose new spaces that will improve spatial perception in people generating in this way an improvement in their quality of life.
