The objective of this research is to determine logistic costs and apply a mathematical model in the advertising products industry through the analysis in the storage and distribution nodes that are part of the supply chain, based on information obtained in the year 2017. This research is applied to a model organization of the industrial sector called "Señal X Cía. Ltda."That dedicates its commercial activity to the production and distribution of advertising products. The research is developed through the characterization of necessary inputs for manufacturing and the establishment of logistic costs, which determines the values that have the greatest influence, such as storage, inventory and transportation costs, and then with the information obtained to propose a model of optimization of costs under certain restrictions, establishing an optimal quantity of order that is solved through the Solver and Lindo programs. At the end conclusions are made by answering the research question and proposals for improvement are given.

The Judicial Function in the Republic of Ecuador is the entity responsible for providing integral service of justice to every citizen inside its territory. To achieve this objective this entity needs to organize its management based on processes, in other words, assign resources to each process; consequently, to evaluate, to control and to improve the results achieved; and these are not far from the strategic planning of the entity. We are proposing a process management system applied to Cuenca’s Judicial Unit of Civil affairs. After a correct application and according to the current regulations that apply to the institution, it might be replicated in the other twelve Judiciary Court units of Azuay. The proposal takes into account the historical background, strategic planning, theoretical foundation and methodological tools for process management. It also includes aspects necessary to implement the management system from the point of view of public institutions in the city of Cuenca. Subsequently, focal groups, interviews and surveys involving user and public servants were conducted to identify and document the activities that are part of the processes of the service of justice; these processes are represented in flowcharts. Furthermore, some indicators to control the management system are proposed. Finally, some conclusions and recommendations of the authors considering aspects and regulations governing the daily activities of this institution are presented.

The present work prior to get the degree in Business Administration, aims to prepare an improvement proposal for SECOHI Cía. Ltda., based on the strategic and management diagnosis for the last five years, to analyze the way in which the company confronts the unfavorable scenarios and takes advantage of the opportunities presented by the environment, in addition to studying its current value proposal and focusing the main problems that have led them to lose their market leadership, as well as, will determine the attributes most valued in the commercial sector in which the company operates, in order to know the positioning of their brand in the mind of the consumer. To define of the baseline of the project aims to design improvements in the business model with which SECOHI currently operates and the impact of these improvements on the organization and its stakeholders; Based on the CANVAS methodology, the company will be fragmented into nine components for the description of the current business model and the structuring of the new model. A Balancedscore Card will also be designed to monitor and fulfill the goals and objectives of the improved business model proposal, presented in an electronic sheet with the automated calculations to show the results and signal the implementation of the model in the when the necessary data are entered.
