This project corresponds to the production of an audiovisual documentary about the community of Patul. This place is located in the Province of Azuay, inside El Cajas National Park. Its particular location has led this site to have some characteristics that differentiate it from the surrounding areas. A carriageway has not been built because it crosses a protected area and, although there are technical and environmental studies, it has not been able to materialize. This particularity brings with it some problems for the inhabitants of this community. Technological connectivity problems and the lack of telecommunication services such as internet or mobile telephony have made the area completely isolated. Education, poverty and health are also important aspects that have been generated by not being able to develop properly. This audiovisual documentary gathers the voices of the people who live there, along with interviews, testimonies and the daily life of the inhabitants of the Patul Community. As a result, it was possible to obtain an intimate perspective of the inhabitants where the public can feel and live a different reality and understand the social reality that is lived.
