Item Lo dionisíaco, la fiesta y tragedia en las crónicas La esquina es mi corazón (1995) y Loco afán (1996) de Pedro Lemebel(Universidad de Cuenca, 2022-03-11) Lojano Chimbo, Katherinne Gabriela; Pintado Álvarez, Tania Michelle; Torres Palchisaca, Galo AlfredoPedro Lemebel is an eccentric writer of Chilean literature. His extensive narrative production has been studied by critics from a political perspective, urban spaces, homosexual characters, who define his discourse as rebellious and militant for rejecting heteronormative conventions. In this research we will analyze two Chronicles books: La esquina es mi corazón (1995) and Loco afán ([1996] 2021), and we will do so from the notions of fiesta, dionysian and amor fati by Erasmo ([1515] 2006), Nietzsche ([1872] 2017, [1908] 2017), Bajtín ([1987] 2000) and Echeverría ([1998] 2000). This, in order to identify the literary resources or devices, present in the chronicles of Lemebel used in the resistance to the criminalization of homosexuality of the Chilean dictatorship. For this, we rely on the hermeneutic methodology of Paul Ricoeur, according to the reading of Antonio Garrido Domínguez (2004). From the analysis, we note that Lemebel claims the identity of gay/travesti and celebrates life in times of dictatorship
