Catalogación y difusión de bienes arqueológicos: la reserva San Francisco de Azogues
(Universidad de Cuenca, 2022-06-28) Loja Pizarro, Carlos Omar; Novillo Verdugo, Miguel Ángel
The present investigation has as study space the archaeological reserve of the Franciscan convent of the city of Azogues, Ecuador. This reserve has a variety of archaeological pieces considered Ecuadorian heritage; however, currently, the state in which these assets are found has generated loss and deterioration of several objects. In addition, the community's ignorance of these is an indication of the lack of importance of heritage in the region, which promotes the absence of memory, identity and belonging of society towards its history. Based on the above, an interdisciplinary work is proposed, which will allow knowing and disseminating the archaeological heritage, from two areas of education and the transmission of knowledge. In this sense, the methodology to be used consists, at first, in the registration of assets; Later, from talks, work will be done with high school students, high school level, in the dissemination of content; In addition, entry, development and exit indicators will be established on the perception of students and heritage. The expected results are the promotion and transmission of material diversity, with an emphasis on memory and identity
