    This paper seeks to understand how when and why? They were created and the rights of children and adolescents , in addition to analyzing the development of the same , that through a historical analysis of the society and States from ancient times until our days , where we already have a wide range of rights , security , institutions and policies to their benefit For a better understanding, in the first chapter I considered necessary historical background and evolution of the rights of children and adolescents and historical events that inspired the need for laws to their advantage Later in the second chapter, we see the historical background, in Ecuador from a doctrinal perspective, I mean the passage of the Doctrine of Irregular of the Doctrine of Integral Protection Situation and legislative changes that occurred after the adoption of the latter doctrine in addition to the regulatory and institutional changes inspired by the life of the 2008 Constitution. Finally in the third chapter find all the principles underlying the Code for Children and Adolescents also mediated protection of both the Code and the Constitution with regard to finally see what the Cantonal Board and its functions.
