    This research has like objective determine the parenting styles in families with children unique, the sample for this study consists of 18 families, and each one with only child that attends to the Child Development Center "Planet Indigo", The study is qualitative and quantitative; was applied as a research tool the questionnaire: "Study of socio-behavioral patterns and trends in families with children unique" (Susana Torio), and a previously prepared interview to the author. After the analysis corresponding of the information collected and the percentages obtained from the survey to 18 families and each one with a child unique, it gave as result that the 18 families have trend to be democratic, but with the analysis of the interviews, we can show that there is a definite style.
