    In this research we have tried to conduct a study about the state of health in Llayzhatan, belonging to the Jadan parish in Cantón Gualaceo. The objective is to identify the most significant variables that causes insalubrity for residents. This study is quantitative-descriptive, therefore, the working group has planned for the implementation results of a survey of households in the sample; through this tool has been possible to make several graphs that are presented on the appropriate discussion and analysis section. The shows are twenty families surveyed, representing all families in Llayzhatan, so there was no need to apply any statistical formula. The instrument used was a record of survey, which was administered by the graduate students in the last quarter of 2014. As a result, this study confirms the problem of unsanitary conditions at Llayzhatan, mainly due to lack of sewerage, drinking water, lack of cars garbage collectors, and the way excretion is removed.
