    Impactos e influencias de las especializaciones funcionales causadas por los equipamientos de salud en el uso y ocupación del suelo en el área urbana de Cuenca

    The objective of the present research work is to establish management guidelines based on the impacts and influences of the functional specialization of the public and private health equipment on the land use and land occupation of the urban area in Cuenca. The first chapter establishes the theoretical framework to address the problem by identifying the country's public and private health system, levels of medical care, spatial analysis tools for the urban study and measure the degree of functional specialization; the second chapter determines the areas of influence produced by public and private health equipment, the study of land occupation characteristics related to the type of implantation, building height, occupation of the front space in the properties that are related to the medical services land use in the areas of influence, as well as, to examine the ordinance compliance; the third chapter determines the logics and impacts of the location of medical specialists and land uses linked to the medical services, with the study of the relationship of the location between the zones of specialization of uses and specialists, through the application of spatial analysis tools and linear regression; chapter four synthesizes the study using graphic diagrams and proposes guidelines that orient the regulations that regulate the land use in the city of Cuenca, based on the impacts and negative influences found throughout the development of the research topic
