At present, it is necessary to develop electricity generation alternatives aimed at taking advantage of natural resources that reduce energy dependence from polluting sources. The present work proposes alternatives to photovoltaic systems connected to the electrical network to solve the problems of electrical power quality in the San José de Taisha Hospital, located in the Taisha canton. The Energy Quality analysis was performed in the hospital center, taking into account the ARCONEL regulation No. 005/18 section 5.1.1 product quality. The project is based on the search for viability at the pre-feasibility level of the technical application of a photovoltaic system as a solution to the energy quality problems that the hospital center presents. Therefore, a photovoltaic generation system is dimensioned based on the ARCONEL Regulation No. 003-18, called photovoltaic generation for selfsufficiency of final consumers of electric energy; several technical alternatives are presented for the dimensioning of the photovoltaic generation system. For the analysis of the photovoltaic potential at the site, a data collection circuit was designed consisting of a Raspberry pi three single-board computer and a solar radiation sensor.
