    Thefollowinginvestigativeresearchcalledthefamilystructure and theirinfluenceontheselfesteem in theeight grade student'sfromManuela Cañizares middleschool, Cuenca 2014-2015, theirobjectiveanalysthefamilystructure and theirinfluence in selfesteemfrom Minuchin structuralpoint of view, themethodsusedwerebasedonbothquantity and quality data. Thequantity data served as basisforgatheringinformation and evaluatingthelevels of self-esteemtoprovethehypothesisinvestigativebasedonstatistics and numerical data. Thequalitativeresearchidentifiedeveryday regular interactionwithinthefamily. Thequalitativeanalysidentifierthefamilycomunicationgivingtheanswertotheobtainded data. Thedescriptiveanalysisallowedtoapplythecollected data toseeifthefamilystructureaffectedtheself-esteem. Thestudywasconducted in 67 participants of 8th grade of theMiddleSchool Manuela Canizares. TheCoppersmithself-esteeminventory test wasusedtoestablishlevels of self-esteem in kids in areassuch as home, school, and social environment. Thedirectedstructuredsurvey of 61 participantsallowedto show howself-esteemdevelops. 61 participantstookhowismyfamilyquestionnaire, 57 participantstookhowisourfamilyquestionnaire, whichallowedtoevaluateinteractionswithinthefamily. Theabovementionedresearchallowedtocollectfollowing data: 28% of theparticipantshadlowself- esteem in thearea of familythatwascausedbyparents’ actions (closenesswithinfamily, strictlimits, hierarchybetweenparents, unstablefamilycohesion and difficulty in communicating).
