These rhapsodies were composed with a nationalistic style in the nationalist period in Ecuador , however none of the works contain a unique style by the very fact that the three rhapsodies were composed in different years , in addition to these works are composed of dances or Ecuadorian rhythms them to be part of the stylistic and formal analysis. In addition to its graphic and written description will be complementary to global understanding.Item Análisis formal e interpretativo del concierto de graduación para piano(2015) Galarza Mejía, Karina Andrea; Khachatryan, SusannaThis thesis contains five chapters, each one based on the pieces to be performed in the grade recital. In order to analyze and understand the musical composition, a study has been done that goes from the artistic social context, to the musical characteristics of the period and the contributions of composers of works in particular, all focused on the piano music. For this reason, each chapter is divided into subtopics that conclude with a formal analysis of the works. So we have five musical periods: Baroque and Johann Sebastian Bach, Classicism and Ludwing van Beethoven, Romanticism and Felix Mendelssohn, XX Century: Impressionism and Maurice Ravel, Ecuadorian Music and Luis Humberto Salgado. The aim of this material is to be used as a reference and support material for music students, especially for those who study piano as a career.Item Análisis interpretativo del concierto de graduación para piano(2013) Parreño Bonilla, Dennis; Khachatryan, SusannaThis thesis is analytical, historical and research through the interpretation of the works to be executed. The work is divided into a first chapter called music and society and the interaction between them, a second chapter that addresses in a historical periods of music from a perspective view of the piano music, a third chapter which consists of a comprehensive musical analysis of some of the most representative works of each period of music as well as aesthetic and historical contextualization of them.
