La aplicación de la canción infantil en el proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje de la Música y las Matemáticas, en cuarto año de básica
(2019-10-24) Jurado Arias, Lola Fernanda; Cheung Ruiz, Meining Marcela
The children's song is a fundamental didactic resource used in educational centers as a motivational strategy, facilitating the attention and interest of the student in his childhood stage. The children's song is dynamic because of its playful capacity that results in interactions with other children, providing situations so that he or she can express their emotions, develop the imagination, improve artistic expression, synchronize movements, reinforce memory and communicate spontaneously. The objective of this research was beyond the use of the children song for memorization, but towards the elaboration of a song which purpose was to use it as an instrument that led to the understanding on a certain topic. Additionally, the song sought to encourage and motivate students to learn Mathematics and decrease the aversion that some students show with respect to this subject. Mathematics is one of the most difficult subjects, one of the fundamental disciplines in basic education, so it was decided to accept this discipline for this project. This process demonstrated the interdisciplinarity that can exist between Music and Mathematics where the contents of this subject were incorporated into the lyrics. Eight songs were composed based on the musical genres chosen by children in 4th year of elementary school whose ages were between 8 and 9 years old. These songs were incorporated into the classroom, where performance evaluations were made, both in music and mathematics, resulting in a type of learning that is meaningful.
