Item Análisis de los tres preludios para piano del compositor Gerardo Guevara(2017-02-09) Alarcón Fabré, Alex Germán; Jumbo Medina, Rommel JoselitoThis paper responds to the lack of analysis of the vast majority of works of Ecuadorian composers. The piano works by Gerardo Guevara “Three Preludes” is no exception, as there has been analyzed and no presence within the Ecuadorian piano repertoire. For this analysis has taken into account the historical, rhythmic, harmonic, melodic and conceptual aspects. Guevara in his three preludes for piano (Recitative, Albazo, San Juanito) exhibits a thought evolved from the rhythmic cells of Ecuadorians genres. Use pentatonic scale with support in the quartal harmony, a language that we might call “Guevarian language” which, as he puts it, is no longer an exaggerated nationalism folk, but a universal nationalism. Since I stimulate for the work and target established the participation in one of the most important events of the city of Ambato, The holiday of the Flowers and the fruits, and specifically in the Blessing of the Flowers, Fruits and Bread; since like Institution of Religious character and of academic music education I am related the elements and with the appropriate structure of the respective musical arrangements one strengthens the musical capacities of children and young people. There is established a level table of execution analyzed with the studies and levels of useful execution for the directors who will take charge of the Pre-juvenile Band of the Conservatory The Merced Ambato.Item La música de la Comunidad de Salasaka como elemento generador de material compositivo para la elaboración de una suite sinfónica ecuatoriana(2015) Díaz Loyola, David Descartes; Jumbo Medina, Rommel JoselitoThe following investigative work describes, analyses and revalues musical-ethnic elements from Salasaka Cosmovision with the masterpiece titled “Suite Sinfónica Ecuatoriana”. The first four chapters are related to Salasaka culture, origins, religion, language and its dialect (Quichua), main festivities, rythms in ceremonies and their daily life; it also includes Southamerican and Ecuadorian Nationalists composers work, together with two of Ecuadorian ethnic Suites composed by Segundo Luis Moreno and Floresmilo Viteri. In conclusion, the autor presents the investigation result titled “Suite Sinfónica Ecuatoriana en Gm para Orquesta y Coro”, this is the final objective of investigation. It is a work in five movements combining the vision of the man form the Andes among mystical mountains and traditional rythms used in lively festivities, characteristic of the town of Salasaka. A Quichua language literary text with Salasaka dialect is included, it explains the Pachamama Inca History, deity present in every spiritual activity in the indigenous town of Salasaka. This investigation contributes the symphonic orchestral repertoire of the nation, which the author suggests to be constantly expanded through systematic processes incorporating several cultural, artistic and musical elements from ethnic groups of our country, this research considered them as its major.
