This degree work is developed based on a theoretical analysis in which different requirements to be applied in a traditional gym in the interior space are analyzed, presenting certain criteria such as materialization, chromatics, ergonomics, construction systems, regulations and universal design that would cover the establishment. A field study of the Kratos gym, located in the Totoracocha parish in the east of the city of Cuenca in the province of Azuay-Ecuador, was also carried out, where information could be gathered on the current state of the site, showing certain deficiencies in the space, making it a non-functional environment in the distribution and organization of the same as well as in the lighting, acoustic and thermal comfort. In the same way, in the formal field, it had a generic and usual aesthetic that would not make a difference from the competition or an experience for the users. From this point, reference guides were taken from gyms that function a traditional establishment both functionally and aesthetically taking into consideration various factors of the counterparts to apply it in the interior design of the gym, from the distribution and adjacency of spaces, as well as in the application of the styles that apply, where they are characterized by color, materials and construction systems. Finally, with the various problems and needs found in the Kratos gym, a proposal was made which successfully solved the main problems for users and staff working in the space, whose purpose is to obtain a functional, accessible, aesthetic and adaptable environment for the various users.
