Nursing being the science of health, it participates extensively in one of the most effective and most successful health interventions, with the care of autonomous nurses and in collaboration, directed to the care of individuals, families, groups and communities, sick or healthy Throughout the life cycle in different contexts. General Objective: To determine the level of knowledge about Immunizations in mothers of children under 2 who attend the "Nicanor Merchán" Cuenca 2016 Health Center. Methodology. - In the present research the descriptive type of cross-sectional study will be applied, with a finite universe involving 120 mothers who come to the Health Center “Nicanor Merchán”. Techniques such as interview and direct observation will be used. An elaborated form validated in previous studies will be applied, the information will be processed through the statistical programs Excel and SPSS version 19, the results as demographic data, level of knowledge will be presented in graphs with percentages, that will allow us to visualize of Better way the problems found in the study group. Results. - The present research showed that in the mothers age 32.50% are between 14 to 20 years, 50.0% know that diseases protect the vaccines, 51.67% know the reactions postvaccination, 74.17% indicate the ages in which they are due Vaccinate, 89.17% are aware of vaccine application sites
