This degree project proposes the creation of a didactic guide for learning Salsa music on the trumpet, aimed at intermediate level students, which progressively organizes existing exercises and techniques for playing the trumpet with repertoire, specially prepared for learning the musical genre Salsa. This guide considers the constructivist educational paradigm, the pedagogical principles of the Orff method and the level of development of students of an intermediate level of trumpet learning. Both the methodology of the qualitative model, and the norms and general structures of scientific research of the bibliographic type are applied. Works of the Salsa genre are analyzed to gather information that serves in the solution to the proposed problem. New study material is provided and organized progressively, applying the current elements of the curricular planning. This work is composed of an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion, in which chapter one deals with topics, concepts and the methodology used; chapter two presents the specific content of the didactic guide as such; and chapter three presents the parts of the guide and the study material. Finally, demonstrative audios and the conclusion are presented.
