Item Estrategias de afrontamiento y bienestar psicológico en el personal técnico y administrativo de la Casa Hogar Miguel León de la ciudad de Cuenca, periodo 2022(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-01-13) Jimbicti Jimbiquiti, Naakam Miqueas; Rambay Zaruma, Daniel Enrique; Arias Medina, William PaúlThe work of care, attention and protection for people in a state of vulnerability is linked to many occupational demands and risks, therefore, workers use strategies to cope with difficulties so that their psychological well-being is not affected and that the quality of service they provide be the most optimal. This research sought to describe coping strategies and psychological wellbeing in the technical and administrative staff of the Casa Hogar Miguel León in the city of Cuenca during the period 2022, identified the differences and similarities in the strategies used by work area and analyzed the well-being general psychological and by dimensions in each area. The study implemented a quantitative approach, non-experimental design, cross-sectional, with a descriptive scope, in which a total of 32 people from the technical and administrative staff participated. The instruments for the evaluation were a sociodemographic record, the Coping Response Inventory [CRI-A] and the Psychological Well-being Scale [EBP]. The results regarding coping strategies showed that in the total population of workers the most used responses are Logical Analysis, Problem Solving and Search for alternative rewards, likewise, it was found that in the three work areas the number of people and the functions they perform are different, but that they use avoidance strategies and approach the problem according to their own needs. Regarding psychological wellbeing, it was determined that the population has high levels of general well-being with high scores in subjective, work, partner and material psychological well-being; In addition, the administrative staff presented the highest levels of well-being by work area. Finally, it was concluded that the high levels of well-being in workers are related to the coping strategies they use and a suitable work environment in which they carry out their activities.
