    Evaluación de la implementación de la iniciativa del Hospital Amigo del niño en el Hospital Homero Castanier Crespo. Azogues, 2013

    Objective: to assess the knowledge of implementing the initiative of the baby-friendly hospital in the hospital Homero Castanier Crespo Azogues city. Material and Methods: a descriptive study, it worked with a finite universe consisting of 291 nurses. The sampling frame is made up of about 115 according to the investigator's discretion professionals, engage staff in the areas of prenatal, obstetrics, neonatology and pediatrics were applied to a form validated by UNICEF and MSP for standards compliance statutory initiative of baby-friendly hospital (IHAN) The research techniques used were interviews and direct observation, and as an instrument forms UNICEF was used and data were processed in SPSS, EXEL and presented by means of tables program. Results: the present study allowed us to observe and assess the level of knowledge in the implementation of the implementation of the baby friendly hospital initiative (IHAN). Conclusion: it is a project that allowed us to identify the level of knowledge in the implementation of the implementation of child-friendly hospital initiative (IHAN) on the staff working in the hospital Homero Castanier Crespo Azogues city.
