    Gestión de conflictos en el cuidado de las fuentes hídricas desde una perspectiva multiactor en la parroquia Sinincay

    The main objective of the study called "Conflict management in the care of water sources from a multi-stakeholder perspective in the Sinincay parish" was to analyze the management of socio-environmental conflicts in the care of water sources from a multi-stakeholder perspective in the Sinincay parish. The methodology used contemplated the quantitative-qualitative approach, descriptive level, non-experimental design, likewise, the survey technique directed to 328 community water partners, and an interview directed to three professionals who work in the Water Board, in the parish GAD, and two community leaders. The main results showed that among the population there is a lack of participation and interest in supporting the actions undertaken regarding the care of water sources, but also the lack of interest that local authorities present where factors such as power struggles are triggers of conflicts, with main consequences in the high degree of contamination that does not allow an adequate consumption of water due to its low quality. It is concluded, in this way, that there is no conflict management in the care of water sources, where the community, the Parish Council and, mainly, the parish GAD become the main actors for a correct planning and administration of the water sources.
