    Objective. Compare the percentage produced by the blocking effectiveness of axillary brachial plexus with neurostimulator by single vs. multiple choice answer. Methodology. With a design RCT included 104 patients scheduled for upper limb intervention by blocking axillary brachial plexus. Both groups were administered bupivacaine 1.5 mg/kg in a volume of 0.5 ml/kg. The group U (n = 52) full dose infiltrated located plexus after a stimulus only and the group M (n = 52) administered the dose fractions. We measured effectiveness and adverse effects of the blockade. Results. The groups were comparable in almost all demographic variables. In group U was obtained 82.7% of complete blocks, 7.7% incomplete blocksand9.6% failed blocks. In the M group were 90.4% complete blocks, 9.6% incomplete and no failed blocks (P = 0.071). There were two cases of a bruise on the sole response group. Discussion. Clinical research plexus block with neurostimulator on discerning supremacy against multiple choice single answer is not yet conclusive.
