Item Percepción de los docentes sobre el proceso de inclusión de grupos étnicos en educación general básica(2014) Jiménez Ayavaca, María de Jesús; Jaigua Andrade, Rosa Catalina; Ortiz Ochoa, William AlfredoThis research entitled "Perceptions of teachers about the process of inclusion of ethnic groups in basic general education" has as main objective to identify the perceptions of teachers about the process of inclusion of ethnic groups in basic general education. To this end, a study was developed in the public schools of intercultural education: "Remigio Romero y Cordero" and "Ambrosi Ezequiel Crespo" in Cuenca city, Azuay province, in 2013-2014 school period. The methodological work includes an investigation of exploratory and descriptive, it tries to analyze the perceptions about inclusive education of students from ethnic groups, besides facilitating explain and characterize the reality of inclusion in the educational process unfolds. The instruments used were a Likert survey of 31 teachers from two educational units, observation, and interview an expert on the subject, allowing a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the subject matter. For the processing of the information one has resorted to statistical methods across programs, with which could have tabulated the obtained results, with which it could have been found that the way in which the teachers treat the topic of the educational incorporation is directed badly, since it aims at the folclorismo instead of a real intercultural education. The youngest teachers are more predisposed by the processes of incorporation. The educational women also seem to be more receptive with the process.
