    The consumption of alcohol is one of the main factors contributing to traffic violations in Ecuador and the world, especially those that result in injuries and deaths; reflecting the lack of culture and unconsciousness users of public roads, becoming a big problem for Road Safety, for several countries, including ours, adopt rules, measures and road policies for the prevention and sanction of reason this offense; Therefore their legal-criminal significance at the high and alarming number of traffic accidents that caused credited. This research work, with topic Alcohol as a cause of traffic violations, provides a reformed law attached to our vision of traffic; by a doctrinal and legal analysis of the issues raised, in order to provide readers with detailed and updated information on this subject; as well as recommendations to the acculturation and awareness of drivers, pedestrians and passengers.
