Grado de satisfacción de las usuarias que ingresan para la atención del parto en el Hospital Provincial Docente Ambato, 2004-2005
(2005) Ipiliales Molina, Elizabeth Lourdes; Merchán, María Gerardina
Descriptive study through different variables, how they have been treated and the level of satisfaction of mothers, since they enter the Hospital to "give birth" until they leave the delivery room. In the end, a proposal of standards and indicators is presented in the process of delivery care to improve the quality of care and increase the degree of satisfaction of the users. We interviewed 80 women between the ages of 14 and 18; In the immediate postpartum, most have primary education, reside in the urban area; The workers are informal, the unemployed, and the students. It is emphasized that they were primigravidae of which the 25 corresponded to the group of adolescents. The satisfaction as good (48.7) and regular (2.5) to the information provided when they enter, while regarding the care of them and their babies was 2.5. As for the information on the existence and benefits of the Free Maternity Law, they qualify as regular 42.5. On the treatment received (human warmth), is between bad and good; Technical scientific performance, comfort and comfort between 78.7 and 80 indicates that it is good, just like 92.5 indicate that all the attention was free. However the quality fails and the grade is not highly satisfactory, hence the need to implement standards and indicators of care process
