    The present research project contains a brief analysis of the process to be developed to apply a sanction to traffic crimes committed by citizens who do not give due importance to the rules that regulate this type of behavior, as well as an analysis to the changes that the Ecuadorian legislation has undergone in regard to the current process to carry out this type of issues since as we know the norms are in constant change with the objective that is to benefit society, the matter of transit then it could not be disassociated from this evolution or changes in the laws, since being a daily activity of people, changes must continue to be implemented so that they can be adapted to the reality and current needs. Among all the changes made to the Ecuadorian legislation are the resolutions that have issued in transit matters both in the Plenary Council of the Judiciary, as well as the National Court of Justice, which are entities that have full power to develop it, this for the need for people to have access to justice without any discrimination and with the same rights and obligations within a process that, with complete independence, guarantees that those rights are fulfilled by the competent authorities. It is because of all this that we have seen or have presented the need to study that these changes or reforms to the laws have benefited or not the people who have been immersed in this type of issues, that is why a comparative analysis of the way to take these processes in the Criminal Judicial Unit '' K '' of the city of Cuenca for the verification of whether the aforementioned resolutions have been advanced for the benefit of society
