    Since CuencawasdeclaredasCulturalHeritage on December4,1999 tourism hangedinCuenca,turningthisbeautifulcity intoaculturaldestinythankstoits historicalandricharchitecture.Forthisreason,itisnecessary tocarry outan “AnalysisonthedeclarationofCuencaasaculturalheritagecityanditsinfluence inlocaltourism,”togettoknowindetailhowbuildingsinCuencaweremade based onthearchitecture ofthe historic center. Someofthese buildingswere influenced bydifferentculturesastheCañaris,the Incas,The colonialeraand therepublicanera,which contributed in itstime the growthofthecity; fullofhistory andculturecontainingdifferentkindsofstylessuch as European,French,andsoon. Cuenca hasanarchitecturalstyleofinvaluable historicalandculturalvalue thanks toitsconservation,thusbecoming agreattouristattraction forlocalsand visitors duetothebeauty ofitslandscapes,itsaccessibilityandconservationwhich has positionedCuencaasone ofthemainculturaldestinations intheworld.
