Objective. Determine the implementation of the Nursing Care Process nurses / os working in the Regional Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso, Cuenca 2015. Methodology. Descriptive was used cross-sectional quantitative research; with a universe of 140 professionals; The method was observation; As interview technique and an instrument Forms. Were analyzed data obtained in the software programs SPSS version 21, Microsoft Excel and Word. Results. Its definition encompasses not only personal well-being but also influence with the environment. OBJECTIVE: The present research aimed to identify the quality of life in people with disabilities belonging to the Biblian Sin Barreras Association "Struggle for Inclusion." Biblian. 2016. METHODOLOGY: This research was descriptive and observational. The universe to be investigated consisted of 610 people, from which a sample was obtained that was of 149 people randomly selected by means of a calculation applying the established formula to determine the sample of finite population. For the collection of information, primary and secondary sources were used, in the first the Questionnaire of the GENCAT scale and as a complementary instrument a form of 69 items, distributed in eight subscales that correspond to the dimensions of the quality of life. For the tabulation of the results obtained in the research, we worked on Microsoft Excel and SSPS, which made possible the development of tables and graphs that show the analysis, in which descriptive statistics were used. RESULTS: 34% of respondents are between 20-30 years of age; Being a youthful population; 54.4% are male; 49% are single; 100% live in Cantón Biblián; 59.7% belong to the rural sector; 23.5% are engaged in household chores. 65.8% have complete primary education, 63.8% are persons with physical disabilities, and 62.4% have a good quality of life. (1) Testicular self-examination is the initial step in the detection of cancer. This involves performing a thorough examination of the testis and scrotum using techniques such as observation and palpation to detect abnormalities in the testicles. (2) Objective: to identify the knowledge, attitudes and practices about testicular self - examination in students Nursing Career - University of Cuenca, 2016. Materials and methods: this research is descriptive observational with a cross-sectional design. A survey was conducted based on the study "Public Awareness on Testicular Cancer and Testicular Self-Examination in Academic Settings: A Lost Opportunity." The results were analyzed with SPSS Version 15.0 and represented in graphs. Results: the prevalent age group was between 21 and 23 years old with 54.9%, third cycle (35.2%). Almost all of the participants were single (93.4%), while in the urban area (83.5%). 85.7% correctly answered that the testicular self-examination should be done by all men periodically. 86.8% are aware that self-examination helps detect benign and malignant diseases and that they should go to the doctor when they find something abnormal (96.7%). On the other hand, of the total of the participants of this study only 11% has been done testicular self-examination. However, there have been technological advances of the past 30 years that have made possible its introduction, first as assistant plan and currently a fundamental method of detecting breast disease, not being accepted nowadays no screening program of breast cancer that does not include mammography as evidence. OBJETIVE: Identify which knowledge’s, attitudes and practices have about mammography the women who are treated in hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso have. METHODOLOGY A descriptive study was applied to women who attend mammography exam in the department of radiology (mammography room). As a questionnaire technique was used; the results were recorded in a database in EXCEL and SPSS software version 15.00, the same as they are presented in tables and graphs with their respective analysis. RESULTS: It was determined that 83.72 % of the women treated at the Vicente Corral Moscoso Hospital, have knowledge about mammography, 91.86 % have a positive attitude to assist the doctor when they find something unusual in their breasts (breasts); the 88.37 % has as a practice on the day before the exam do not wear deodorant, creams, powders on the armpits and breasts. This research deals with ancestral customs and traditions in food and their nutritional value, it seeks to identify productive practices and ancestral experiences, from the everyday reality of the families of the community, based on agro-ecological practices and respect Pacha Mama to sustain a true food sovereignty and SUMAK KAWSAY (lifestyle). To determine customs and traditions in food and their nutritional value Ilincho community, 2015 Saraguro canton. Methodology: Qualitatively research the narrative was used, with the ethnographic method. The sample consisted of 30 adults 65 years of age, who just signed informed consent. The technique and methods used were the implementation of the interview, surveys and testimony by a bank of questions developed by the authors and containing sociocultural data, ancestral practices on food and their nutritional value by using open questions; Also recordings were then transcribed by the authors. The information collected helped us to build concepts and definitions that enriched our knowledge, enabling rescue the traditions of the community. The data obtained were analyzed and transcribed by a Microsoft Office Word program. Using results With the results of the research it is to rescue the ancient dietary practices as a means of preserving health through proper nutrition and raising awareness to the community itself especially young people, to reassess our ways. METHODOLOGY: This research is descriptive with a qualitative and quantitative approach plays for nursing care in the postpartum period and the level of user satisfaction. The sample consists of 110 people, including nurses and postpartum. RESULTS: The care provided by the nursing staff does not reach the desired goal would be 100%, because in regard to education can conclude that 30% of nurses do not perform such activity, which influences the level of satisfaction of users. Regarding the level of satisfaction with nursing care received in the calving period, 63% say they are satisfied, 32% very satisfied, in the postpartum period are 64% satisfied and 14% very satisfied; around care education RN satisfaction 42% present, 35% reported being very satisfied. According to these figures we can say that mothers attended at the birth center, are satisfied with the care received. Materials and Methods: A descriptive, qualitative and quantitative study; we worked with 70 pregnant women who attended antenatal care during the period from January to July 2015. As the interview technique was used as a tool and a form of questions developed by the authors. In gathering information informed consent was applied. Data were processed and analyzed using the SPSS, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word programs. Results: It was determined in 70 pregnant women in the study 77.1% attended their first prenatal care before 20 weeks of pregnancy, while 2.9% did so between 26 and 28 weeks. MATERIAL AND METHODS: it is an analytical cross-sectional study that took place in the school of nursing of the University of Cuenca. Formed the universe 950 students working with a sample of 200 students, between men and women. Was used for the collection of data the Test for identification of the disorders due to the consumption of Alcohol (AUDIT) a survey was also used to detect the frequency and intensity of the consumption of alcoholic beverages, in those students who resorted to drinking alcohol in the last year, socio-demographic to determine risk factors associated with the consumption of alcohol. RESULTS : most outstanding data of the 200 students were: 92% are women and 8% are men; 80% belong to the ages of 18-23; 83 per cent are singles; 79.5% belong to the urban area, 20.5% are rural; Catholic 92.5%. As for the frequency of alcohol consumption, this is 70.5%; According to the test a 94.5% corresponds to consumption without risk and 5% consumption at risk. CONCLUSIONS: as identified risk factors: age range 18 to > 25, unmarried students, urban residence and Catholic religion. To determine the risk factors associated with to the lack of prenatal control care in pregnant adolescents who attend to the Health Center "Carlos Elizalde". Cuenca, 2015 METHODOLOGY: This is a descriptive research. We worked with a sample of 60 pregnant adolescents, who were randomly selected after conducting arisk factors surveys and to tabulate the data, SPSS program windows and Excel was applied. The results were presented in simply cross tables. USE OF RESULTS: 83% of pregnant teens are in their late adolescence, From this 83% the 32% are started sexual activity in middle adolescence, the 42% are cohabiting, the 32% work, 18% are still currently studying. 80% do not talk about sexuality in their homes, 47% are accepted by their families and have their support, 58% go to the control in the first trimester of their pregnancy, 47 adolescents know about family planning. Objective: To identify risk factors associated with the consumption of psychoactive substances, alcohol, snuff and energy drinks in high school teenagers Guillermo Mensi Technical College. Methods and materials: A descriptive study, quantitative, prospective cross-sectional. The universe consisted of 250 students and a sample of 151 adolescents. It was established as the main tool for improving child health because it addresses the main health problems of the girl or boy, he says, the early identification of critically ill children with risk approach responds to the demand for care population and it is cost -effective. Objective: To identify the signs and symptoms of severity in relation to the component of acute diarrheal disease (ADD), applying the IMCI strategy for children from 2 months to 5 years of age who come to consult health sub center of the Valley, Cuenca 2015. Methodology: This study is descriptive. The universe and the sample was obtained by sampling and selection according to the criteria of the researcher, to children who arrive with an acute diarrheal disease consultation in the health sub center of the valley using the formula of Pita Fernandez and getting a result in 231 representatives, the same will apply survey data collection . The technique of direct observation and as tools, a survey on the subject in study by the authors is used. The results were verified, the information was processed with the introduction of data in SPSS, Excel and Word programs; the conclusions are presented in tables with their corresponding descriptive analysis and reporting of results. Background: In rural communities there sociocultural factors that influence the decision to choose a family planning method. General Objective: To characterize the sociocultural influence on access to and use of family planning methods by women of childbearing age. Methodology: a descriptive study with 168 women from Huertas community, parish Shaglli of the Santa Isabel Region, in 2015, who consented were performed. Data were collected by interview with a guide previously structured, according to the study variables, and tabulated and analyzed using SPSS 19 and Microsoft Excel 2010 program. Results: The largest age group, young people aged 15-24 (47%), of rural origin, secondary education and average level of income, and with 1-2 children; predomi-nantly Catholic, they have received information on family planning methods through the Health Center, while 39.3% admit not take any contraceptive practice fearing the possible infertility. (1) Objective: To demonstrate the intervention of nursing in the attention to the senior citizens in relation to depression, senior citizens living at the “Cristo Rey” home, Cuenca, 2015. Methodology Methods and Materials: A quantitative study of descriptive and transversal type was done. The universe is formed by 120 senior citizens, this job was done with 52 people. The information was obtained through instruments such as the Yesavage test and an interview form prepared by the authors. It was typed in the Microsoft Word 2003 program. The tabulation was executed with the SPSS program version 21. Results: According to the observation guide, the nursing staff prioritizes the direct nursing cares leaving aside the senior citizen´s change in the mood. It was determined that the 17% of senior citizens show depression, from which 22% corresponds to men and the 78% to women; 29% shows probable depression and from that percentage, 40% corresponds to women and 60% to men, which means that there is a higher percentage of men with probable depression. Conclusions: In relation to the Nursing Intervention, the staff is more focused in the rehabilitation, leaving on a second place the promotion and prevention in the emotional scope of the senior citizens. Objective: Identify the Hospital Waste Management for health personnel in the Dermatological Hospital Mariano Cuenca Estrella 2015. Methods: The study was analytical and informative. The universe was composed of 56 health workers. To collect the information management protocols validated by the Hospital Waste (MSP) were used. Direct observation, surveys and interviews were conducted. The tabulation WORD, EXCEL and SPSS was used. Results: The application of the protocol on medical waste management is insufficient staff under investigation. 53% say that the containers are not covered, 55.4%; Deposits for common wastes used for other types of waste. 53.6% filled with sharps waste containers. 62.5% do not disinfect the containers, 58.9% do not disinfect sharps, 42.9% stated that the waste is stored for weeks, 67.9% the existing committee does not fulfill its functions and supplier management. Objective. - The present research aimed to determine the manifestations of the stress in the nursing staff that works, Hospital Moreno Vásquez. Gualaceo, 2016. Sexuality finds its proper place in the family; a place where love creates a new life that must be cared for and fed by parents. Objective: To determine the level of knowledge about sexuality and family communication Teen 8th, 9th, and 10th year of basic Javeriano College Sayausí parish. Method and Materials: a descriptive, cross-sectional, quantitative approach. The study universe consists of all students in 8th, 9th and 10th year of college Javeriano, but the formula applied is the sample of 194 cases. The techniques and research instruments to be used are surveys, prior informed where they agree to cooperate with the research agreement. Results: Based on the objectives, the most outstanding results of all emphasizes that teens surveyed, the highest percentage corresponded to female representatives and the average age of them is 13.5 years. It was found that possess an average level of knowledge about sexuality; there are a significant number of students who know essential aspects of the issue and it is not treated freely in homes through conversations between parents and children.
