Its object of study is collaborative work. The purpose of this research is to analyze the sense of collaborative work in the teacher training students of the Basic Education Degree, of the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Education Sciences of the University of Cuenca. In order to fulfill this purpose, interviews and classroom observations were conducted with the teachers who drive with the students of the third cycle of the aforementioned career. The interviews and classes constituted the empirical material on which the interpretive work was carried out with the help of the Atlas ti. The processing and discussion of the research results will be treated through topics that answer the question and the research objective. One of the main findings of the research is that teachers in the Basic Education career know and manage aspects of the collaborative work strategy, according to what we have analyzed in the interviews and observations. On the other hand, another finding is that students in teacher training are proving experiences of collaborative work, which is developing a sense of social learning for their future professional practice.
