    Desarrollo, vigencia y aplicación del Derecho Internacional Humanitario

    War has existed since the beginning of humanity. Therefore, the law has kept looking a way to lessen its effects and impacts creating a law system that rules people’s behavior within armed conflicts in order to avoid unnecessary suffering and limit the manners and methods used in in this frame. Consequently, the International Human Law was born looking to maintain human´s dignity and respect for human´s rights that should never be overlooked at any time specially, in violent acts that have occurred throughout history and have had catastrophic consequences that marked and moved to mankind. This paper analyzes the origin, evolution and nowadays implementation of the International Human Law. Mainly, international instruments that regulate it, and its efficiency systems. Moreover, this paper contributes to the State's obligation to spread its rules and principles.
