    Nivel de ansiedad en padres/madres de neonatos hospitalizados en Neonatología del Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso, Cuenca, mayo-octubre 2017

    Background. It talks about abnormal anxiety when the time and level of presence has excided, caused by unexpected changes such as the hospitalization of their newborn child in the neonatology area, hospitalization is a very strong situation that not only affects the child, but also the parents and their family since the idea of the healthy child has been destroyed. This adverse situation in contrary to the desired one produces a series of reactions that can lead to an anxiety state, it mostly depends on how each one of them faces it, those who do not have an adequate management of the situation could worsen their condition and it would not only affect the parents, but the child and all health personnel. Objective. Determine the level of anxiety in parents of neonates hospitalized in neonatology of the Vicente Corral Moscoso Hospital, During May-October 2017 cycle. Methology. Descriptive prospective cross-sectional study by the individual application of the Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HARS) to parents of neonates hospitalized in neonatology of the Vicente Corral Moscoso hospital. The results will be analyzed with percentages, through the SPSS program, free version 23. The results will be presented by tables. Use of results. The results will be used as information for future research for teachers, students and health personnel in general. This study will be available in the library of the University of Cuenca.
