The goal of this research is to elaborate a didactic guide based on games, in order to create a significant apprenticeship of logarithmic and exponential functions; the need of creating this guide, is fundamented in the categorization of the mistakes in math, suggested by Radatz (1979); with the support of a questionnaire, addressed to the seniors of “Unidad Educativa Luis Roberto Bravo,” which concludes that, more than half of the sample has a deficiency in concepts and applications about these functions; for many reasons, which might be, a traditional teaching, lack of motivation or a memorable teaching. Teachers in the campus, through an interview, gave their opinion about the complexity of teaching these themes, they agreed to teaching exponential and logarithmic functions, through a contextualized gamification. With the categorization of mistakes, and with the obtained analysis, it is required to create a significant apprenticeship, through an attractive material for the students that allows to generate a positive response in the internalization of concepts. Thanks to the competitiveness, cooperativity and ingenuity of the didactic games, we believe that it is convenient to teach these functions, testing the student body on contextualized playful activities and not on real-life contextualized activities on this proposal.
