    Determinación de costos y tarifa para la implementación del proyecto piloto de biodigestores, como fuente de desarrollo sostenible y mejora de la calidad de vida de los habitantes de la parroquia Santa Ana, período 2020-2021

    Our degree work had as main objective the determination of costs and tariffs in the "Proyecto piloto de implementación de tanques biodigestores como sistema alternativo de alcantarillado en la parroquia rural de Santa Ana perteneciente al Cantón Cuenca, provincia del Azuay"; This will provide an efficient system for wastewater treatment in the communities of San Miguel de Pucacruz, San Francisco de Mosquera, Los Laureles, El Salado, Tepal, Playa de Los Ángeles, Ñariviña, and Santa Bárbara, all belonging to the Santa Ana parish. In the execution of our study in the first chapter to delimit the study area, we obtained prior knowledge of the place to be analyzed through a map of its geography, the number of inhabitants in the beneficiary sectors, access to basic services, state of septic tanks, among others. In the second chapter, we developed the theoretical framework by compiling background information, previous research, and theoretical considerations on which we based our integrative project and with which we materialized the methodology for the fulfillment of the proposed objectives. Finally, in the third chapter, with the help provided by the directors of the Santa Ana parish government, we carried out the fieldwork collecting relevant information to determine the homes where the implementation of biodigesters is urgently required since the project was carried out in sectors with a dispersed population where it is not viable to implement a public sewage system due to its high investment costs and at the same time with the growth of the population the environmental impact increases in this parish that is already affected by the emissions of the Pichacay sanitary landfill. In this same chapter, it was possible to determine the investment, implementation, and operation costs generated in the pilot project for the implementation of biodigester tanks; and based on these costs, a single differentiated tariff was established for the inhabitants of the communities that are the object of this study
