    Hunger and malnutrition affect 53 million (10%) of people in Latin America. Nearly 9 million (16%) of girls / children under 5 suffer from chronic malnutrition. Guatemala recorded (49%) Ecuador in 2009 was the fourth country in Latin America, with the worst rates of child malnutrition, 13.9%. Currently, 26% of children suffer from chronic malnutrition General Objective: To determine knowledge, attitudes and practices of mothers about feeding schoolchildren School "Angela Rodriguez" Racar parish. Methodology: A descriptive cross-sectional study, knowledge, attitudes and practices of mothers about feeding schoolchildren School "Angela Rodriguez" was investigated. For removal use a data form by the authors, the information was collected by applying them to the mothers, to a computer program (SPSS 20.0 software for Windows and Excel 2010) was transferred for analysis. Results The investigation identified 70.83% of mothers are knowledgeable about nutrition, 61.67% knew the food pyramid, and 83.3% respond that breakfast is the most important day. Attitudes and practices, 88.3% ingested food with your children in the dining room, eat together 75.83, 50% do not watch television, and 86.6% make family meals. Conclusion: The mother of our research, have good knowledge, attitude and practices on school feeding
