Item Estilos de vida de los estudiantes de la carrera de enfermería de la Universidad de Cuenca, Cuenca 2023-2024(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-03-28) Gualan Abrigo, Sonia Joselyn; Vera Castillo, Katherine Michelle; Peñafiel Peñafiel, Marcia BeatrizBackground: The World Health Organization indicates that lifestyles are based on the interaction between living conditions and individual patterns of behavior determined by socio-cultural factors, personal characteristics, habits and customs that mark vital importance due to the impact they exert on the quality of life, specifically in university students, the epidemiological profile of our country is one of the main causes of morbidity-mortality. In this sense, the lifestyles adopted by students influence their development with great repercussions, therefore: exercise, good nutrition, avoiding the consumption of alcohol, cigarettes and drugs, will guarantee students with an integral health. Objective: To determine the lifestyles of the students of the Nursing Career of the University of Cuenca, Cuenca, 2023 - 2024. Methods: Pure descriptive cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach, the data were collected using the "Fantastic" questionnaire, and for the variable: socioeconomic level the Graffar questionnaire was used, for the universe 277 students of the career were considered. The analysis was operationalized using SPSS Statistics 27.0 and Microsoft Excel. Results: according to the Fantastic questionnaire, 75.8% of the students have a somewhat low lifestyle, with room for improvement; it should be noted that no student has shown to have a lifestyle that can be labeled as "fantastic". Conclusion: it is evident that students do not have adequate lifestyles, a result that will contribute to implement proposals focused on prevention and health promotion.
