It is important to analyze the harmonic behavior of the distribution network when connecting solar photovoltaic generation systems (PVS), since the connection of these systems can cause power quality problems in distribution system; therefore, this article presents the implementation of useful methods for harmonic analysis at the point of common coupling (PCC). The methods to be implemented use the product quality measurements performed by Empresa Eléctrica Regional Centro Sur - CENTROSUR. Initially, the harmonic impedance of the consumer and the utility is estimated in order to determine the harmonic contribution, before and after the connection of a PVS. Subsequently, the impact on voltage and current harmonics when a PVS is connected to the PCC is analyzed by simulations, for which an equivalent model representing the harmonic behavior of the load and the distribution network must be generated. For this, before connecting the PVS, it is necessary to calibrate the harmonic voltage of the utility model, contrasting the results of the simulations with the measured values. In the first instance, the harmonic state estimation (HSE) method is used, and then optimization algorithms are applied: simultaneous perturbation stochastic approximation (SPSA) and genetic algorithms, so that the simulations represent the real state of the system, minimizing the difference between measurements and simulations.
