    Propuesta innovadora para la enseñanza-aprendizaje de fracciones con el uso de material concreto en quinto año de educación general básica

    The present innovation proposal was developed with the objective of offering activities for the process of learning and teaching fractions in fifth year with using concrete material. The proposal revolves around the approach of a series of activities aimed at improving the skills of students in fifth year of general basic education of the educational unit Gotitas de Miel in the area of mathematics, specifically in teaching and learning fractions. In this work some points are developed. In first place, a written test was applied to identify the difficulties of the children. Then, a conceptual framework centered on constructivism is presented, which is the theoretical basis that sustains the activities of the proposal. Later on seven activities are developed that aim to become a tool for the improvement of learning fractions, they are presented in a practical way, playful and above all with the support of concrete material. Finally, a report will be presented of the socialization of the proposal, which includes a description of the presentation of the activities in the educational institution Gotitas de Miel, as well as suggestions and recommendations provided by the vicerector and teachers.
