Item Propuesta de diseño del parque urbano Cayambe en los predios de la brigada de Artillería Portete(2016) Cantos Joza, Juan Pablo; Gonzalez Suquinagua, Juan Fernando; Flores Juca, Gonzalo EnriqueAbstract The disproportionate way the city is growing and society in general, has caused an imbalance in the relationship people - recreational public space. From this condition it has taken the initiative to recycle national semi-public spaces and turn them into equipment that contribute to the formation of citizens. Urban planners say the ultimate goal to improve the quality of life, being in the urban public space from the core which contributes to this goal. Military barracks in many cities of the country have been hit by urbanization, being able to occupy these sites to solve urban problems that has been generated around these places. This thesis shows that the architecture is thought and occurs from the place, with reference to the methodology of urban spatial analysis, and complementing it in turn with the work and thought of Rafael PinaLupiañez. The sector of the property of the Artillery Brigade Portete is the ideal place for an intervention, which was implemented a proposed recreational urban park, where not only is potentiated tropic and anthropic characteristics but also has managed to mitigate unfavorables conditions. It has considered this project as the precursor to facilitate change of use to these areas much needed within the city, being a first encounter with the military body.
