Cuenca, 2018(Universidad de Cuenca, 2019-11-11) Godoy Godoy, Tatiana Cecibel; Ojeda Orellana, Karina PaolaIntroduction: adherence of medication in patients with COPD influences complications, exacerbations, hospitalizations and quality of life. Objective: To determine the prevalence of adherence to treatment with inhalers in patients with COPD and associated factors. Materials and methods: Observational, cross-sectional and analytical study in the period between January 2018 and October 2018. The sample was 299 patients calculated with 95% confidence, and with 23% frequency as a minor associated factor. The TAI Test was applied to measure adherence to inhalers. The data was collected through a questionnaire previously designed and validated by the author. The information was analyzed with the statistical software SPSS version 20.0. For the hypothesis test RP, IC95% and p-value <0.05 are applied. Results: The prevalence of adherence to inhalers in patients with COPD was 40.5%. The average age of the group was 75.2 years. Of the population studied, 68.6% were male. A significant association was found between adherence and instruction (p value 0.001) as well as short - long anticholinergic (p: 0,00) polypharmacy (p: 0,00), continuing smoking (p: 0,00), frequency in the Use of the inhaler (p: 0.00) Conclusions: The prevalence of adherence to inhalers in patients with COPD was 40.5% and had a positive, anticholinergic relation of short - long action, polypharmacy, continued smoking, frequency of inhaler use (p 0, 00)Item Prevalencia y factores asociados a conductas agresivas en niños/as de 58 escuelas rurales, Cuenca 2011(2012) Flores Yunga, Ana Belén; Godoy Godoy, Tatiana Cecibel; Mariño Arévalo, Juan José; Jaramillo Oyervide, Julio Alfredo; Jaramillo Oyervide, Julio AlfredoOBJECTIVE: To identify risk factors associated with aggressive behavior in children enrolled in 5th, 6th and 7th grade of basic education from 58 rural schools of the Canton Cuenca, 2011. METHOD: Cross sectional study on 621 students, a survey was developed for the collection of data and risk factors. We applied the family APGAR Test previous authorization. For tabulation and statistical analysis frequency charts were created. RESULTS: the children of 11 years old presented low aggressive in 84.8% and moderate 14.2%. In families where parents are married show low aggressively 86.6 % and moderate 12.6%. Parents emigrated but children’s show low aggressivity in 84% and moderate 16%.In functional families show low aggressivity 89.9%, in family problems show moderate 77.3%.When students watch TV programs 1-2 hours show low aggressivity 89.1%, more than 7 hours 76.1%.Children’s aren’t punishment show low aggressivity 94.7%, shoots 85.6%. CONCLUSIONS: The significant risk factors are: dysfunctional families, hours of television, punishment, sex and age.
