Estudio de estabilidad en el proceso de galvanizado de la empresa Mapresteel Cía. Ltda.
(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-03-08) Gallardo Apolo, Melissa Lisbeth; Quezada Jara, Hugo Efraín
Currently, the search for a stable process has become a necessary trend for companies with the aim of obtaining more predictable processes that allow the generation of products that optimally meet the quality requirements of their customers. In this way, with the objective of seeking to analyze the variability of the galvanizing process, a stability study was carried out, which will consist of three stages. The first, through the use of X̅- bar chart, R-chart and U-chart, will determine if the process is in statistical control and then in the next stage, carry out the analysis of the capacity indices and see if the process is capable. If the process is capable and is in statistical control, its degree of stability will be determined thus concluding the stability study. On the other hand, if the necessary requirements for the process to be stable are not met, the origin of this problem will be analyzed through the application of the 5M and improvement proposals will be generated based on the results obtained. In this way, this project will analyze the state of the galvanizing process and propose corrective measures that allow obtaining a less variable, more predictable and consistent process over time and that, in addition, allows compliance with the given specifications, thus helping to generate products that better meet the quality requirements requested by their customers.
