Evaluación meteorológica de la cuenca del Río Machángara
(2016) Galarza Galarza, Diana Priscila; Avilés Añazco, Alex Manuel
The properties and phenomena that develop in the atmosphere, are the natural dominant force, which governs the environment. In spite of its importance, in the basin of the river Machángara, the studies, on the knowledge of their variability and behavior, they are limited. The basin has been monitored for many years, for meteorological stations standard, but recently the EmpresaPública Municipal de Telecomunicaciones, Agua Potable, Alcantarillado y Saneamiento (ETAPA EP) increased an automatic network of monitoring, which understands the stations of Chulco, Tixán, Ucubamba and Labrado. Contrary to previous studies of hydrology and forecasts of droughts of the zone, the meteorology of the basin has received few attention; therefore, the intention of this study is to obtain a better comprehension of the behavior of the meteorological variables and information of reanalysis, to surface level, unloaded for the same period of time registered by means of the network of monitoring, which they influence the zone of study. The research includes: (i) a descriptive analysis of the meteorology in one gradient altitudinal, in a range altitudinal of 2425 - 3434 m. S.n.m., the geographical variability, the annual extent, its behavior in an event of rain and correlation between the variables and the (ii) the correlation between the meteorological variables, with regard to information of reanalysis, level of the surface. This study will provide initial and relevant information, which will be used as a foundation for future investigations on the meteorology and climate of basins of mountain; in addition, it contributes as an input for the planning of actions of conservation and protection of the environmental services, in the area of study.
