    Estudio epidemiológico y clínico del embarazo ectópico en el Hospital Homero Castañer Crespo, Azogues1990-1996

    In a retrospective regional study, from 1990 to 1996 13 patients of 28 years plus or minus 5.16, poor socioeconomic conditions [61.53 per cent] and with a history of include: previous abortions [23.07 per cent], intrauterine devices [15.38 per cent] and abdominal curugía [23.7 percent]. They were hospitalized with a diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy present: abdominal pain [100 percent], amenorrhea [61.54 per cent], TVB [69.23 per cent] and pain in the right lower quadrant [46.15 per cent]. Two patients requested discharge and in 11 of them the diagnosis was confirmed mediente: laparotomy [100 percent] ultrasound [90.9 percent], curettage [27.7 percent] and laparoscopy [9.1 percent].
