    Objective: This research aims to determine the Risk Factors Associated with Teen Pregnancy attending the health center belonging to the Canton Honorato Vásquez Cañar, 2012. Material and Methods: A descriptive research. The universe was made up of 200 pregnant adolescents aged 14 to 19 who attended the health center Honorato Vásquez. To collect data, a questionnaire previously developed by the researchers. The information was processed in an electronic database, developed in Excel, the same elements that contributed descriptive statistics for analysis, which are presented in tables of 2 x 2. Results:the present studyreports that 80% ofadolescentsare affectedby migration, 73% ofnot usingany contraceptive method, 66% havecommunication withtheir parentsbutdo not talk aboutsexuality, 54.5% have had pregnanciesdesired, 45.5% ofunwantedpregnancies, 54% had incompleteand minimumacademic instruction, 61% know about contraception, 34% talk aboutsexualityat home, 28% ofadolescentshavesome form of abusewhether physicalorverbal
