    Prevalencia y factores de riesgo de mala nutrición en vendedores de el mercado El Arenal, Cuenca 2006

    An epidemiological clinical study or prevalence cross section was performed, the study population consisted of 302 vendors. It took into account variables such as sex, age, marital status, education, residence, BMI, personal history, family function, schooling seller, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, amount of food a day, cosumo of street food, food preference . The data were obtained from the interview on the basis of which, a form, after which the information is entered into the computer for further analysis with Epi Info and Exel filled. Results: there is a prevalence of malnutrition of 71.19. The low weight presented a prevalence of 0.66, overweight obesity 40.73y 29.80. Risk factors for poor nutrition found in this study are: to have an age between 51-70 years, owning a married civil state, having a school of incomplete and complete primary, and be in a depressive state. Conclusion: there is a prevalence of malnutrition of 71.19. The prevalence of underweight is 0.66, overweight obesity 40.73y 29.80. Risk factors for poor nutrition found in this study are: to have an age between 51-70 years, owning a married civil state, residence in a rural area, having had as background overweight, have a school of incomplete and complete primary, and be in a depressed state. Conclusion: there is a prevalence of malnutrition of 71.19. The prevalence of underweight is 0.66, overweight obesity 40.73y 29.80. The group consisted mainly women in a 79.14de raps which the 2.25presentó underweight, 46.14sobrepeso and 41.24obesidad, the age groups most affected are between 51 and 70 years and were absent between 11 and 30 years old, also has a higher frequency married with a percentage of 50, and people with an educational level completed primary in one 28.15seguida incomplete promaroa with 16.89, presenting more overweight and obesity
