Item Problemas conductuales en niños entre 5 a 11 años, hijos de padres divorciados(2018) Espinoza Calle, Vanessa Jacqueline; Ramón Ochoa, Jonnathan Javier; Pacheco Salazar, María de LourdesBeyebach (2009) mentions that if the divorce is not resolved properly it can affect all the family members including the children. The purpose of this study is to determine the prevalence of behavioral problems in children of divorced parents. A quantitative study was carried out, with a transversal design and a descriptive scope; with a population of 19 children and 20 girls between 5 and 11 years old, students of the Educational Unit "Julio María Matovelle" of the city of Cuenca, where it was evaluated by the Spanish version of the Eyberg Behavioral Child Inventory (EBCI), called Inventory of Eyberg for the Behavior of the Child (IECN), different behavioral categories such as: anxiety, aggressiveness, negativity and / or opposition, attention deficit, sleep problems and eating problems. The results found in the study participants show: a) that children have a medium prevalence of behavioral problems; b) the predominant category of behavior are eating problems, followed by anxiety and negativity or opposition, third attention deficit, fourth aggression and finally, problems sleeping, and c) behavioral problems are present in more girls than boys, although, there is no significant difference
