The objective of this article was to analyze the reproduction of gender violence in the family system by comparing variables between the urban-rural population of the educational institutions "Luis Roberto Bravo ̈(Barrial Blanco-El Vecino) and "Segundo Espinoza Calle” (Minas-Baños Community), in the period September 2022-February 2023. We worked with a non-probabilistic sample of an intentional type, with a population of 141 adolescents and 124 parents and/or legal representatives corresponding to the levels eighth, ninth and tenth year of basic education. For the research, a questionnaire on reproduction patterns of gender violence was prepared and applied to parents/mothers and legal representatives, and the escalation of attitudes towards gender violence for adolescents. It was found that gender violence within the family system is directed at both the male and female gender; Said violence is based on stereotyped practices carried out by authority figures (father, mother) and the couple, regarding attitudes towards gender violence in the adolescent population, an indifferent state was identified. Regarding the patterns of reproduction of gender violence in the family system, it is evident that there are minimal differences in the urban and rural context; being the stereotyped roles, the mandates of domesticity and the mandate to maintain the image of the ideal family the most subtle forms of reproduction of violence.
