    Aplicación de un programa educativo y de autoestima para la prevención del consumo de drogas en el Instituto Pedagógico Intercultural Bilingüe Quilloac, ciudad de Cañar, 2015

    Background: The age of onset of use of various drugs is a scanned variable basically referred to adolescents and young people. Countless efforts have been made to prevent this problem and more evidence on the effectiveness of prevention of alcohol, tobacco and drugs from legal trade school programs are currently available. The Institute teaching Intercultural bilingual "Quilloac", of the town of Cañar, is no stranger to this situation, since studies have previously determined the incidence of the 24.3% of the consumption of marijuana and alcohol. No intervention for the reduction of the problem has not been made yet. Objective: This research implemented a program of educational and self-esteem for the prevention of the consumption of drugs in bilingual "Quilloac" Intercultural Pedagogical Institute, to identify its validity Method and materials: A quasi-experimental, in which applied an educational program for the prevention of drug use study, sample universe was 138 students, as data collection instrument was a form in accordance to the rules of CONSEP. For the development of procedures is requested authorization from the parents and students. Results: Of the 138 students determines that the 61.59% is female, 88% single, 55,07% maintain very good domestic relationship, the 44.87% have dysfunctional families. The usefulness of the programme is expressed with a 94.20% of acceptance, because 98.55% is consents that drugs do harm, the 91.30% that produce social and family problems, the 78.98% thinks that they do not increase creativity.
